High School Internship

Casey's is looking for a dynamic, energetic high school intern who is eager to learn the business and our company by assisting various departments and making an impact working in an area aligned to your interests.
You will be working closely with our team to support projects and attend meetings to get the full experience.
You'll also build connections and relationships with other interns, coworkers, and leaders.
This high school internship program is in partnership with the Ankeny Community School District.
To apply you must be a student at Ankeny or Centennial High School and have taken a semester of Orbis or School-to-Work.
To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor.
You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current campaigns.
There are available opportunities in many departments such as accounting, general business, and construction management options; but we are also willing to work with individual student interests.
Key
Responsibilities:
Ability to work approximately 5-10 hours per week, with a goal of completing 90 hours for the semester.
Interest in gaining work experience related to Casey's business model.
Gain business insight through in person meeting attendance Priorities work based on business goals and supervisor guidance Develop problem solving skills to achieve desired business outcomes Recommended Skills Construction Management Curiosity Passionate Partnerships Accounting Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
