Regional Sales Manager - West

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for retaining, maintaining, and expanding business with current customers and developing new business for vehicle and/or stationary fluid pumps, battery & electronics cooling, HVAC, fuel cell, and other airflow cooling needs.
The RSM will be responsible for all customers within the assigned territory and/or as assigned by the Regional Sales & Market Manager (RS&MM).
50-75% travel is expected within the region.
The RSM maintains positive working relationships with customers, works to obtain new customers, supports the RS&MM, and other colleagues as appropriate.

Approximately 50-75% travel is required What's the Job? Manage the region/accounts for which you are responsible through planning and actions to achieve both company and individual goals and objectives in coordination with the RS&MM Develop, evaluate, and execute market strategies in coordination with relevant Market Managers based on knowledge of objectives, market characteristics, competition, and budgetary factors Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales activities in the assigned Region Understanding the products in order to recommend product solutions to customers' applications, and to make new product recommendations to support current and future needs Visit and contact existing and prospective customers on a regular basis to educate them of features, functions, and benefits of products, solicit new orders, and provide ongoing support What's Needed? Bachelor's degree (B.
S.
or B.
A.
) from a four-year college or technical school, and a minimum of three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
An engineering or technical background is desirable, and a working understanding of airflow cooling and/or fluid management is a plus.
Computer skills including MS Office and CRM Systems Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities Highly competent communication, writing and negotiation skills A complete job description will be provided.
