Position DescriptionDesign and specify control automation systems.
Essential Job Functions
Communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form.
Design and detail control systems to meet customer business objectives.
Analyze the characteristics of existing and emerging technologies and their use in the project environment to determine effective solutions for AS3, Inc.
Modify, archive, update, and maintain existing engineering assets, design drawings, and materials.
Develop instructional materials for employee and customer training.
Design process and work aids to support efficient work flow that reflects the diversity of our new and current employees.
Plan and manage control design projects on time and under budget.
Provide sales support, meeting support, and ongoing liaison with customer design engineer of record.
Promote collaboration, partnerships and positive relationships among the project team.
Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines.
Ability to work regularly and dependably.
Ability to function and thrive in a team environment.
Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.
Demonstrate ability to perform mental tasks such as making decisions, learning, thinking rationally and exercising good judgment.

Education, Experience & Skills
High energy level, positive attitude, and capable of working in a flexible and dynamic environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in technical or educational field required.
4-6 years related experience.
Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team-focused environment.
Ability to effectively handle pressure, time deadlines, and audience variables.
Demonstrated self-starter and self-finisher.
Data center and clean room experience a plus.
Intermediate to advanced level computer skills.
Proficiency in AutoCad.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, required.
Experience with Trane products such as Tracer Summit, Rover, and unit controls a plus.
Experience with Tridium products such as Lynxspring/ Building Logic.
Experience with I.S. technologies, networks (LAN/WAN).
Physical Requirements
Ability to effectively communicate with others both written and orally, including the telephone. Mobility within the work facility. Ability to independently travel domestic and internationally. 75% Travel. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
